Process Engineer FCB/TFX
As a Process Engineer, you will optimize chemical processes within FCB/TFX with a focus on safe, efficient, and right-first-time production. You will help meet customer expectations and delivery schedules and support the achievement of business objectives.

Your Responsibilities
1. Optimizing existing processes
· Improving process performance through strict monitoring of process parameters (trending, analysis, statistics, and reporting) and implementing cost-reducing optimizations
· Performing technical optimizations during process monitoring
· Tracking deviations, including organizing and conducting root cause analyses, updating documentation, and supporting CAPA implementation
· Conducting feasibility studies, impact analyses, and documentation for process changes
2. Supporting the introduction of new processes
· Organizing the technology transfer to production
· Organizing and participating in risk analyses, such as process safety and environmental risk assessments
· Reviewing Master Batch Records (MBR) and, where applicable, process validations and homogeneity studies
· Assisting customers during process witnessing in production
· Analyzing and reviewing production campaigns and associated data
3. Process Expertise
· Building in-depth knowledge of FCB/TFX processes and equipment
· Staying up to date with state-of-the-art technologies within FCB/TFX
4. Collaboration and Execution
· Building and maintaining strong collaboration with internal stakeholders
· Ensuring efficient team interaction and project progress
· You will primarily work at the Balen site, with occasional short trips to Mont-Saint-Guibert (TFX R&D), Valencia/Montaverner (Agro), and Wetteren (LIZ project or new ASSO processes) as part of collaborations or projects.
Profile
· Master’s degree in Chemistry, (Bio)Engineering, or equivalent
· Strong interest in and knowledge of industrial chemical processes, risk analysis, and process validation
· Analytical and solution-oriented, with a proactive and results-driven “first time right” mindset
· Fluent in Dutch and English
· A team player who collaborates effectively with various stakeholders. Experience leading project meetings is a plus.
· Well-organized, strong at planning, and able to perform under pressure
