Process Engineer LIZ (Balen)
Function:
You optimize all chemical processes of the LIZ-project in order to deliver services according the supply agreement, the customer expectations and the company profit goals.
- You improve technical processes in LIZ production campaigns to optimize cost and to ensure right first time.
- Improve process performance by
- Firm follow up of process parameters: trending, analysis, statistics, reporting.
- Initiating process optimizations to continuously optimize product cost.
- Technical troubleshooting while witnessing the process.
- Follow up of deviations: investigate, coordinate and document root cause analyses, review corresponding documentation and support implementation of corrective and preventive action.
- Carry out feasibility studies, impact assessments and required documentation in case of process changes.
- Improve process performance by
- You support the introduction of new technical processes and equipment.
- Organise the Technology Transfer Process to production.
- Lead the process engineering and participate in the process safety and environmental risk assessments.
- Review of Master Batch records (MBR), process validations & homogeneity studies.
- Accommodating customer process witnessing in production.
- Review and analyse product campaign & review data.
- You become a process expert by keeping up to date with the state-of-the art LIZ installations and developing an in depth knowledge of all LIZ processes. Therefor being present both on our Wetteren and Balen site is crucial.
- You build and maintain strong collaboration with internal stakeholders to create a fluent team interaction and progress of the project.
Profile:
- You have a Master degree in Chemistry, (Bio)engineering or equivalent.
- Strong chemical and process technical competencies.
- Affinity with data collection, interpretation and reporting.
- You have 5 years of experience in a production environment.
- Knowledge of process risk analysis and process validation.
- You are willing to work on both our Wetteren and Balen site.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Team player able to work with different stakeholders.
- Pursue ‘first time right’ attitude.
- Pro-active way of working.
- Excellent planning and organising skills, capacity to cope with pressure.
