Automation & Instrumentation Maintenance Manager (M/V/X)

Functie

• You plan & coordinate the maintenance activities and technical modifications of the automation & instrumentation teams to assure the well-functioning of production equipment and facilities at our Wetteren plant. 
• You coach & motivate a team of Supervisors, Work Preparators and Technicians.
• You initiate or participate in improvement projects concerning process automation & instruments to optimize production yields and operating comfort.
• You analyse the needs for new investments, replacements or installation upgrades and manage new investment implementations
• You contact and negotiate with suppliers/contractors and follow-up their activities on site.
• You support the telephony network and ICT infrastructure on site. 

Profiel

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering (or equivalent by experience)
• Proven experience in automation & instrumentation, preferably in the chemical industry.
• You have knowledge of automation systems and programming PLC and DCS systems.
• You have experience within leading a technical team
• You have experience with project and change management.
• You are an excellent communicator in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• You know how to deal with pressure and deadlines
• You can set the right priorities based on helicopter view 
• You have excellent IT-skills  
• Experience with Operational Excellence (Lean/sigma) is an asset.
