Mechanical Maintenance Manager

Functie

• You plan and coordinate the maintenance activities and technical modifications of the mechanical teams to assure the well-functioning of production equipment and facilities.
• You coach & motivate a team of Mechanical Supervisors and Technicians (+/ 20 FTE).
• You initiate or participate in improvement projects concerning mechanical installations to optimize production yields and operating comfort.
• You analyse the needs for new investments, replacements or installation upgrades and manage new investment implementations.
• You contact and negotiate with suppliers/contractors and follow-up their activities on site.

Profiel

• Bachelor or Master Degree in (Electro)Mechanical Engineering 
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the chemical industry
• You have experience within leading a technical team
• You have experience with project and change management
• You are an excellent communicator in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• You know how to deal with pressure and deadline
• You can set the right priorities based on helicopter view
• You have excellent IT-skills  
• Experience with Operational Excellence (Lean/sigma) is an asset
