1. Technical Support for Sales & Business Development

  • You guide the technical evaluations of customer proposals: you interpret customer needs, identify risks and opportunities, and align with internal departments such as R&D, QC, QA, Purchasing, Sales…
  • You translate technical insights into commercial value: you ensure Sales has accurate cost calculations, margins, and market information to prepare a competitive offer.

  • You conduct literature and market studies on new technologies, products, and potential projects to stimulate innovation and identify commercial opportunities.

2. Optimisation and Strengthening of R&D Operations

  • You support R&D management in both strategic decisions and daily operational challenges, ensuring that projects progress efficiently and with clear focus.
  • You perform targeted analyses of competitors, market players, and potential external partners. This helps attract new customers and projects by keeping R&D continuously up to date with relevant trends and developments.
  • You identify opportunities by monitoring market and technology developments and translating them into concrete proposals for innovation or collaboration.
  • You actively contribute to internal optimisation projects, improving processes and procedures to strengthen collaboration between R&D, QC, Production, Purchasing, and Sales.

  • You work autonomously, in a structured manner, and with strong attention to detail, even when managing multiple dossiers simultaneously.
  • Creativity and a results‑oriented mindset define your approach: you think proactively, spot opportunities, and easily build a network within and outside the organisation.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • You take ownership, maintain oversight, and set the right priorities in a dynamic environment.
